Kambang Iwak Family (KIF) Park

    Kambang Iwak Family (KIF) Park is a family recreation place located in Palembang city park Kambang Iwak, Bukit Besar. there is a pond with beautiful pine trees along the edges in the KIF park. We can do some activities in the KIF park such as relaxing or find inspiration, fishing, walking, and jogging, playing skateboard or ride a bike, and we can also do gymnastics in the morning. The trees are shady and the pool made us feel fresh and comfort. 

      Kemang Iwak pool was built by the Dutch government as a household waste disposal site. Kambang iwak area was built in 1921. when Thomas Carlsen is a leadership of the Dutch government. Dutch government has introduced the concept of aesthetics in the construction of retention basins. As time goes on Kambang Iwak evolve to be a recreation place that comfortable and enjoyable. there are some inscriptions located in the KIF park. such as

    inscription of tree planting. that have been conducted on 10 may 2008 for opening ASIAN ORCHID EXHIBITION 2008 and signed by Mrs. Jusuf kalla, as a chairman of DPP PAI.
